The new „Contact Boom“ has almost not front-head because the tubes end right at the mast. This will give the sailor a more riding feel and better controle. Imagine, you would hold your sail by the mast with your forward hand and try to imagine how much more control you would have, this is why we call it “contact boom”. To support this system, we added adjustable shock absorbers into the front part of the tube.
