This ripstop consists of four times more squares per square centimeter than normal ripstop. This makes the canopy stiffer and the kite responds faster to steering input. The Dacron material used for the struts and leading edge is exclusively designed for inflatable kites. Potential vulnerable areas on the leading edge are reinforced with kevlar patches to prevent rapid wear.
